Apartment Review for The Huntington - Huntington Beach, CA

This place is beyond screwed up on so many levels it's pathetic. If they were half as good at finding new ways to overcharge you on things, as they are about keeping things repaired and in good shape, the place would be the Getty Center. For starters the rent is too high, they charge for water, my wife and myself were paying approx 85/month for just water. I have friends that live down the street in a house they have a swimming pool,with 3 kids, and their water bill is 40/month. Tell me they aren't gouging the tenants. Parking is terrible, not too mention, with all the break-ins, your lucky your car will be there when you come back,unless of course, you drive a POS.Then they will only steal your radio. Management is rude, and will get to you when they feel like it. You can also bet if they do any repairs it will be done in the cheapest crappiest way possible. They allow pets, for a fee of course, like I said it's all about the money and shaking down the tenant. The aroma will prove it. A lot of the tenants shouldn't be allowed to have pets, because they are too irresponsible to take care of them, or clean up after their pets,that's why it smells of poo, and they have lots of fleas, and flies as a result. This gets me to the residents.They want you if your getting a gubbamint check, such as disabliity, or workmans comp, or your credit rating isn't up to par, they want you. They like slackers and parasites, why? because they can get away with gouging you for more rent. They should be run out of HB, for all the crap they are doing. The place sucks. You'd be better off living in a tent.The place is filthy,bad maintenance,snotty management,crime is ridiculous. Back in may, they had 11 cars tops slashed and broken into, IN ONE NIGHT!!! If thats how you want to live, go ahead and move it, but you can get the same treatment in Santa Ana, and it will cost you a lot less.
