Apartment Review for Casa Del Sol Apartments - Huntington Beach, CA

We moved from out of state and didn't know anything about the area. We chose Casa Del Sol because someone my husband worked with lived here and told us about it (he got a referral check and wanted to carpool). He quit his job and left his lease early. Our lease is up next month and we are moving out. Management locked me out of my apartment the first day I was here (fixing closet door while I was taking moving boxes out to the trash). I spent hours looking for my keys in the trash thinking I'd locked myself out. They over charged me on my first gas bill (Im sure I paid for the gas between tenants). We had someone crawl through our open bedroom window the first month. Had our laundry stolen out of the dryer the second month (paid for gated but they only got put up about a month ago and only work part-time). Had our car blocked in once and a rock thrown through the side window of our pickup. Other tenants told management about the window I later found out but they never contacted us. We had over $700 flood damage to our car October 2004 because the storm drains were not cleaned out. Managements response to all these? Something like thats too bad, but we cant do anything about it. It doesnt happen often. The apartment and the grounds are very nice but the way things are run and management's attitude is beyond words.
