Apartment Review for Casa Del Sol Apartments - Huntington Beach, CA

My wife and I live in a 1 bedroom on the second floor, and yet we continually have plumbing problems. Out of the 11 months that we have lived here, we have had 9 toilet back-ups, 3 shower back-ups and 2 kitchen sink floods. The management does not come out immediately when you call their emergency number and so it ends up flooding. When they finally do come out, they do not fix the problem, they just clean up the mess, somewhat. My wife and I always end up cleaning up more. The parking here is absolutely horrible. People are continually storing broken or extra cars and trucks here. That makes it very hard for you to find parking. There is supposedly a rule that you cannot leave your car parked in the same spot for more than 48 hours, but the management does not care. They refuse to do anything about it - actually their reply was, "Too bad. That is your problem." At the beginning of this month we received a notice that if we wanted to continue living here and sign a new lease that the price would be going up greatly. Why in the world would I want to pay more money for such big problems? And I just found out that the apartments across the street are charging $200 less per month, are newer AND you have 2 assigned parking spaces. We are outta here. If you do not want parking, plumbing and price issues, DO NOT MOVE HERE.
