Apartment Review for Casa Del Sol Apartments - Huntington Beach, CA

My boyfriend and I moved in 9 months ago and have had both of our cars broken into. ... and mine was broken into TWICE. The management claims to have a security guard around here, but we have never seen them. The security gates have only worked for about 2 weeks - and they are brand new! My boyfriend works nights and does not get home until the early morning hours. Several times he has had to drive around for 30 minutes or more to try to find parking. And he has been forced to park outside the complex at the Carll's Jr. across the street. The management allows people to store wrecked vehicles, vehicles for sale and just plain everyday cars for months on end- in the 48 hour maximum parking spots. When I have asked them to do something about the stored vehicles I get the, "Well our boss does not want us to do anything about it. So you will just have to put up with the parking problems because we are not allowed to enforce the 48 hour rule and people can do whatever they want." routine. This place is a nightmare - and in talking with some of the other residents here, the management is known for raising your rent every year. I will be so glad when our lease is up and we can leave. There is no way that I am going to pay them even more money for more headaches.
