Apartment Review for Casa Del Sol Apartments - Huntington Beach, CA

I am a young female who lives alone. This place is NOT patrolled by any security service, does NOT have good lighting, and is NOT low on crime. I do NOT always feel safe. When I first moved in I was told by the management that there was a security guard at night. All of the apartments just got notices on our doors this week saying that there is not security guard that works here. Also the security gates have never worked since I moved in. The gates were even replaced with new ones about 6 months ago and those don't even work! They are locked in the open position! The management lied to me when I moved in. My car has been scratched up and a window broken out of it. There is NOT plenty of parking. There is NOT always a spot for my ONE car. I pay for one assigned spot in the carport. But recently someone else that looks like they do not even live here (because they do not have a Casa Del Sol Sticker on their car) parked in my assigned spot for three nights. When I went to the management and asked them to tow the vehicle, all they did was put a note on the windshield asking them not to park there anymore. The management sucks! They refused to tow the car! And I had to try to find parking in the guest parking! The guest parking is another fiasco. You are only allowed to park your car for a maximum of 48 hours in the guest parking, but people store vehicles for months and months there. That makes it impossible for you to find parking. I had to park ACROSS THE STREET AT CARLS'S JR. because the management would NOT tow the vehicle out of the parking space that I PAY FOR and there were not any spaces open in the guest parking because of the stored cars. The management refuses to tow any of the illegally stored vehicles that are in the guest parking spots! This place looks like a junkyard with all of the broken into, broken down, covered in dust cars parked at weird angles not even in the parking spaces around here. The management is NOT very professional, because they will not provide parking that I pay for, they will not even provide the assigned carport space that I pay for. They are NOT always helpful. And are NOT quick to respond to my needs. They DO know my name, just by my voice, probably because I have gotten so fed up with them not towing the vehicles and for lying about a security guard and the security gates. And the price? Ha - check it out for yourself. They are waaaaaay to expensive. Don't move here unless you want to live at a junkyard and pay Beverly Hills prices.
