Apartment Review for Casa Del Sol Apartments - Huntington Beach, CA

I've now lived here for 4 years and there are great things and bad things. First off, never live on the top floor, it gets extremely hot in the apts (try 95+ degrees inside during summer). My wife and I made that mistake for a year then moved to a bottom floor, 100x's better.

Parking is tough, luckily my wife and I pay for an extra covered spot each month so it doesn't really effect us, but if you come in late, you will have a problem. W/ that said, this same problem takes place at nearly every apartment complex i've been too.

Maintnence is great for me, they are quick to fix things. Even on the weekends they are usually there with in an hour or two for an emergency (not that quick, but sufficient to me).

Upkeep is good, the grounds are amazing, but the structures are in desperate need of new paint (they've been telling us this was going to happen for years). The buildings themselves aren't bad, but show typical use for a 40 year old building. Ants during rainstorms suck, and spiders are everywhere (I don't mind the spiders though).

Overall, I like living here, it's still a pretty good deal for the area. And yes, there have been some car break ins (mine included; but again, that's something that comes w/ living in an apartment w/ 500 cars in one spot IMO).

I'm not sure if we'll stay here when our lease is up (we need something bigger); but I'd recommend it to anyone.
