Apartment Review for Huntington Villas - Huntington Beach, CA

This place appears to be real nice when you look at the pictures and visit the leasing office - then you get into the actual community and it's not so "sparkling". They advertise that it is a gated community when in fact the gate hasn't actually worked at all since we've lived there. The parking is a nightmare. There have been many times when I can't even park inside the complex and I have to park 2 streets away - but yet I had to PAY for a parking sticker!!! Aside from the lack of parking, this is the loudest place I've ever lived at and the walls are paper thin. I can't even sleep with my windows open because I hear the neighbor snoring so loud that when I do eventually fall asleep I end up having nightmares of being chased by wild animals! Then I have to hear the domestic disputes between the white trash couples at all hours of the night and then I woke up a few days ago to find one of them being put in handcuffs! During the day it is IMPOSSIBLE to have any peace and quiet because everyday is CHUCK E CHEESE day at "ToddlerTown". Who's bright idea was it to put in an entire playground right outside apartment windows so I have to hear badass kids screaming and pushing each other off the jungle gym starting at 7am. Now, on to the SIZE of the apartments...the bedrooms are so small that you roll out of bed and hit the wall. When it rains, the edges of my carpet closest to the window get damp. Between the bratty kids screaming all day and the dysfunctional families screaming all night, it's impossible to get any sleep. I've had dark circles around my eyes since the day I moved in. This is an ideal community for deaf people who don't drive cars! DONT MOVE HERE
