Apartment Review for Huntington Vista Apartments - Huntington Beach, CA

The title speaks for itself. This complex likes to keep the place full and if that means renting to young adults(?) at 3 or 4 in a two bedrom place, so be it. When you open leases for month to month, this is the result. I have lived at this complex for 4 years and it has been a very fast ride downhill since the new management company (United Dominion) took over two years ago. Saying the office management is nonresponsive is an understatement. I have complained about the parties until 2 or 3 in the morning, the yelling off of balconies at the same hour of the morning, the motorcylces with loud pipes being reved up at all hours of the evening and early morning, the 3 day parties over holiday weekends and the stereos being played at a level in which you can't even watch your television in your livingroom due to decible level. I have repeatedly contacted the on site security that we are paying for, only to be told that they can do nothing about it. By the way, there is no on site security, it is a vehicle patrol that comes by once in awhile to fulfill their contract obligation. I have called the HB Police, but in their defense, I am sure they have more important things to deal with. For instance, the same people that are partying until they puke at Huntington Vista, and then getting into their vehicles and putting everyone elses life in danger on the road. And finally, I once again, have complained numerious times to the management, I get the old standby, "did you contact security?". The quality of life is absolutely terrible and for 1600.00 dollars a month, I and many more tenants that feel the same way, should be able to come home to a decent place to live. I recently wrote United Dominion on the website specifically about this complex. I did get one phone call and message asking that I contact them, to which I have done several times. There have been no return calls. The silence on their part says everything that needs to be said. In closing, if you are looking to party like there is no tomorrow, this is the place for you. If you are looking for a nice place to live, I would highly recommend that you look elsewhere.
