Apartment Review for Huntington Vista Apartments - Huntington Beach, CA

I am serious, you will hate yourself in 3 months if you chose to live in this place. this is the worst place i have ever rented in 17 years. i know that when you move into a commutiy this size you are risking your sanity, but this place will redefine horrible for you. Not only is it over pirced, and it really is. i mean you pay a ton of money and what do you get? the loudest party complex in orange county. you simply will never get a moment of sleep. there is no security patrol. i mean they tell you there is but in the 4 months ive been here ive only seen them once and that was when they stopped into a party for a quick smoke, i am not exagerating. the office is now run by a girl named Abby. if i live to be 100 years old i pray never to meet a more rude, brain dead woman. This broad is such a jerk, she could get a nun to hit her with a tire iron. as for the condition of this dump, this place comes with vertical blinds that will fall apart every day from the moment you try to open them, and forget about calling anyone to fix them, they will show up in a couple of months. once the "fix" them, they will break again in a couple of days. We had orders in to get our screen INSTALLED not replaced installed, that little chore took 8 weeks to complete. when you move in or think about it, ask about the carpet, i promise you it isnt new, they may tell you that it is but they lie. who do they let live here is another great question. they dont screen anyone if that helps, it may be what you are looking for but if youre a normal person with a live that requires a little peace, not alot just a little, it will piss you off. they rent to young kids, that party until 2 am every night of the week. if they evict someone, 2 months later they rent right back to them. i am not kidding, i have talked to some of the new residents, they are all retruning from their exile. oh yeah, if you pay your rent on time and they screw it up due to their own incompitence, you will get the "pay or quit" notice. if you take care of it right then and there, they will screw it up again, and not tell you for a week or two. in case this matters to you i tell you this, YOUR RENTAL HISTORY WILL BE COMPLETELY JACKED FOR 2 YEARS AFTERWARDS. so forget about moving out of an apt. and buying a house anytime soon. if you have any concerns about this place you get the fun of going through coorperate hell. it will take you days to get anyone on your phone and then good luck getting anything accomplished. i know these sites are sounding boards for angry tenants, and can be a little bias, that isnt the case here. i am trying to warn every one out there to stay away from a truly bad place to live. save you money, sanity and time. move anywhere else.
