Apartment Review for Monticello Apartments - Huntington Beach, CA

My wife and I have lived here for about 16 months and can't complain about too much. The management is great, very cooperative and helpful. Nice, spacious apartments with plenty of space for storage. We have a very large, long closet in our master bedroom, another closet in the hall, and overhead storage above the carport they give us for free. The apartment we rent isn't one of the "upgraded" units, but we're willing to make that $150/month sacrifice. The only things we don't like are the people smoking directly outside our windows (they live on either side of us). Also, the rent for incoming renters has decreased since we signed our lease, but we still have to pay the amount we agreed on. It's only $50 difference, but still. It's the principle, plus, in this economy, every little bit helps. Other than that, the place is great. Close to the beach, easy parking, close to Ralphs and Trader Joes. I just wish they allowed dogs!
