Apartment Review for Ocean Air - Huntington Beach, CA

I lived in this tenement from 1996 to 2006. The managers Dee and Lee Kelch are the WORST I have ever met. I have rented all over this country and in Europe. You will never have anything repaired in a timely manner and forget quality work. Lee does everything shoddy and cheap or he hires his son and his white trash friends to do the work. Or they hire tenants to do repairs - and only the white trash. The property is noisy in the extreme, dogs barking all day & night, parties and loud noises 24-7, domestic violence situations that threaten the safety of neighbors are allowed to continue as long as rent is paid. The owners dont give a damn either. All the apartments are infested with toxic black mold. They made a show of repairing balconies but this did very little to fix the problem. My health and my families health was shot when we moved out from the toxic black mold - colds, allergies, headaches and asthma which mysteriously cleared right up after we moved to a healthy condo. There are rats that live in the palm trees on the property as well, as frequently they will fall to the ground and lay there until Lee gets off his old grizzled keister and cleans it up. I can't say enough to warn people NEVER TO RENT HERE. You will regret it and it could endanger your life and your personal property, as well as your vehicles which will be vandalized in the parking lot - which is a joke in itself. There is NO parking, but one of the worst white trash tenants, who works on his car in his garage, has TWO garages plus a parking space - why? Because his son and the managers son are friends. There is also a teenager living on the property who will trash your car, another does drugs and trashes the property on a regular basis and NEVER gets evicted. DO NOT RENT HERE UNLESS YOU ARE A MASOCHIST ! ! ! THIS PROPERTY SHOULD BE CONDEMNED, TORN DOWN AND THE GROUND SOWED WITH SALT SO NOTHING EVER GROWS THERE AGAIN.
